Low-Fat or Low-Carb Diet–Which Is Better for Weight Loss? | Morning Report
healthy diets April 15th. 2020, 3:46amWith today’s obesity epidemic, finding the best weight loss diet has become a mission. A new study explores whether there is a clear winner in the debate between a low-carb and a low-fat diet.
Research suggests that people may benefit from individualized weight loss programs based on genotype patterns or baseline insulin secretion. Genotype patterns refer to three genes important for fat and carb metabolism.

Fat is typically viewed as something to be avoided in our diet. But a UCLA Health expert says it’s not that simple. “The recommendation for adults is to commit approximately 30 percent of caloric intake to fat,” says Tsz Ying (Amy) Lee, MD, a UCLA internist and nutritional specialist in Thousand Oaks. “It is important that those calories are from the right kinds of fats.”
Dr. Lee explains that the unhealthiest fats are saturated fats, typically found in animal products such as red meat, butter, cheese and cream, and trans-fatty acids — unsaturated fats that come from synthetic oils most commonly found in processed foods. Trans-fatty acids are designed to increase the shelf life of products, and studies have found they raise the level of bad LDL cholesterol and
increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. “If you see on the back of a package that a product contains saturated or trans-fats, it is best to limit consumption or just stay away,” says Dr. Lee.

Low Carb and Low Sugar is the best. What makes people fat is feel good Bakery products that have High Carbs and High Sugar. Someone eating bacon and spoonfuls of peanut butter do not get fat unless they eat excess amounts.

I had heard in what way carbohydrates were attached to gaining of weight and so for the most part to steer clear from carbohydrate, but had in no way thought about utilizing them to lose excess fat. The key thought behind the 4 stage fat loss treatment is used to teach your whole body to melt fat for energy instead of just carbohydrate. https://goo.gl/1z31Zh

Hey
I love this Video…it is really motivating thanks. I just got into fat burning and I'm thinking of joining a weight loss program that is easy and healthy.
My uncle tried a particular program and he saw results quick. Do you think I should follow this method,or burn weight by eating healthy and excercising (do you think it would work)?
I keep reading good reviews about it but I am unsure if it will still work on me…if I am 35.
It's on sale right now at a very low price, so if possible can you leave me feedback on wether I should do it or not. Here is the link to the program https://bit.ly/2QiVxut
It would mean a lot coming from an expert in this field. cheers

Actually saturated fat is not as bad as it's made out to be. It's neutral in terms of what it does to our cholesterol. It raises the HDL and LDL. Trans fatty acids are the only fats you must avoid. Anything that has partially/hydrogenated oils in the ingredient list has trans fats. They're used to prolong shelf life in things like Jeff peanut butter, magerine, white tortillas and deep fried foods.

Dr. Amy Lee is a disgrace. She sells her endorsements to make money selling unregulated "health" products.
Her certification needs to be revoked.
