Dr. Sarah Hallberg is a Medical Director at Virta Health, as well as the Medical Director of the Medically Supervised Weight Loss Program at Indiana University Health Arnett, a program that she created. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Clinical Lipidology and also a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the ACSM. She also developed the non-surgical weight loss rotation for Indiana University School of Medicine where she is an adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine.

In Montreal, we have the worst health care system in the world.This comes from my pharamacist.
I am male, 75 – recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic.
Just lost my Family Doctor, for the administration at the clinic she works at treats her like a servant.I could not stand that.
I was on the waiting list for almost a year to find a doctor , and the provincialy managed Medicare Card still not sent out yet, making millinos really ill.
French candians are actually real morons.
By the way, Canada is Not the best country and our so called Free Health care system is NOT free, if you are sick.
Unless you are an immigrant from Algirs or Tunisia.

It defenetly sucks when one of your love ones is diagnosed with diabetes both type 1 and 2. I remebered when one of my love one eas diagnoed couple months back and i was frustated because i didn’t;t want anything to change. Doctors where saying that things weren’t. looking good and that drove me insane. I then decided to do my research and studying about both types of diabetes and now know a lot about the topics and what works best for people in terms of possible cures in fact i have my own blog website where i do in deph about it and the ways to get rid of it and what types of medications works as well as recommended products. feel ffree to check my blog and read more and please give feedback. @t

Nice Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you researched – Patlarny Sugar Outcome Principle (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one of a kind product for reversing diabetes minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my GF finally got astronomical success with it.

I've been on keto for a year, T2 diabetic. 15-20 carbs per day, intermittent fasting. No weight loss but my A1c went from 8.1 to 6.7. Not good enough tho. So now doing keto PLUS long-term fasting (3 to 5 days once a month). NOW, my diabetes is being reversed. Yay! So sometimes, for diabetics, keto is not enough.

I was diagnosed with diabetes type 2, and I had symptoms like burning sensation in my feet at night. I decided to try the Keto diet and in addition did exercise 2 – 3 types a week. In about 2 months, maybe less, I lost 30 LBS and got to my idea weight, the symptoms I had before were gone, and my insulin levels were normal. Not only that, but I feel much better, have more energy, and do not crave things like bread and other processed foods anymore.

Just started. It's only been a few days. I doubt if I can maintain it. Biggest challenges are giving up soda/sweetened drinks, and not being able to eat oatmeal.

im 40 year old. 18 Days a go my doctor diagnose im a Diabetic. my A1c is 12 and Random is 317. from next day I start Keto Diet today is my 19th day in keto diet I lost my weight now im 60Kg my Fasting Sugar Level is 80 -90 and after meal not more then 100. with 16Hr fasting. feeling so good. hope so I beat this diabetic

A macro calculator is important when you are on Keto, you have to use it to plan your meals. @t I have been using this calculator to count macros. It's very accurate and easy to use.

If I'm a beginner in building muscle mass is keto optimal or is it solely to shred? PS I already have stored fat in my body and I do have a certain muscle as I been working out on and off mainly weight training but I'd say I'm over 20% body fat and I do need to loose the access fat but I want to build more muscle at the same time.

Great Video! I too wanted to lose weight, heard about keto , tried it, but my first month we sooo hard! i struggled for a while and did a little more research to figure out what i was doing wrong.. Turns out Most people on a new diet have no plan.They learn what to eat… and not to eat. They try new recipes…But they DON’T have a daily plan to carry them through that critical first month.thank God i found this website! it helped me TREMENDOUSLY! i just want to share my blessing with someone else..hope this helps @t

This year I've been diagnosed with blood clots on the lungs and legs,im 44 6"3 over weight my doctor advised me to go on a keto diet 2000 calories my question is can I do it as a vegetarian(Brazil nuts,eggs,mushrooms) and should I look at supplements now or when I've lost weight and to start the gym.i now walk the dog 1 hour a day 7 days a week.
If I eat 2000 cals between 10am and 5pm does that mean I'll be fasting for 17hrs
